About the Programme

Bridging Program for Computing Disciplines

Following Curriculum is proposed as a Bridging Course for students who are interested in pursuing a career in Computing but have not followed the Physical Sciences stream at the A/Ls or have not taken a subject combination that includes Mathematics and Physics.

NON-Physical Science stream (G.C.E. A/L Examination) applicants who wish to follow BSc (Hons) in Information Technology

SLIIT regular refund policy applies up to 30 days after the commencement of the Bridging programme.
Regular Refund Policy
If you wish to withdraw from the programme and obtain a refund of the bridging course fee, a refund request needs to be submitted through an email to chamini.w@sliit.lk

Requests submitted;
On or before 9th December 2025 – 90% of the semester fee
On or before 2nd January 2026– 50% of the semester fee
3rd January 2026 onwards – no refund under regular refund policy for those who exit the programme. Refer 2), 3) for other categories.

These dates relevant to the refund policy will apply to all registrations without any change even if the registration is completed after the above dates.
After completing the Bridging programme
Enrolled to another Institute – no refund
Applicants not selected to SLIIT to follow the degree programme through the IFSLS.
 Applicants will be offered the below options if not selected for SLIIT due to the capacity limit of IFSLS after completing the Bridging programme.

Enroll with SLIIT as a regular student with Semester Fee payment – bridging programme fee will be transferred to the semester fee
Enroll with the next IFSLS intake – fee transfer to the next intake and refund after enrollment to SLIIT
Exit from the IFSLS – no refund
Not passing the Bridging programme
 Applicants who fail the bridging programme - no refund

* after being selected to the SLIIT under the IFLS program they need to request the 25,000 refund before the given deadline. Please keep in touch with the website update*

Per Participant Fee: Per Participant Fee: Rs 25000/- (no installments applicable)

Program fee can be paid to/transferred to Bank of Ceylon in favor of the SLIIT current A/C 0072821605 and the receipt should be emailed to pdpcontact@sliit.lk before the commencement of the Program.
