Yes. You will be provided with accommodation options to suit your budget and lifestyle. You can make the final selection based on your preference. You are also free to find your own accommodation independently.
You should arrive in Sri Lanka at least two weeks prior to the commencement of the Orientation Program to allow time for settling in and completing required formalities.
Yes. Attendance at the Orientation Program is compulsory. It helps you get familiar with academic processes, support services, and student life at SLIIT.
The semester fee must be paid in full either before your arrival in Sri Lanka or within one week after your arrival, depending on your selected payment plan.
You will first enter Sri Lanka on an entry visa. Immigration officials will endorse a 30 day period on your passport. During this time, your entry visa will be converted into a Resident Visa to continue your studies at SLIIT.
The SLIIT International Office will guide and facilitate your application for a Resident Visa. This process is handled by designated officials to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Yes. Your Resident Visa must be renewed every year. Renewal is subject to maintaining satisfactory academic performance at SLIIT.
No. According to the Department of Immigration and Emigration in Sri Lanka, international students are not permitted to work while pursuing their studies.
