SLIIT’s Master of Education (MEd) program is meticulously crafted to empower educators with advanced pedagogical skills and leadership capabilities. Aligned with the Sri Lanka Qualifications Framework (SLQF), the program offers two pathways: a 12-month course leading to Level 9 certification and a 24-month course culminating in Level 10 certification. The extended program also provides eligibility to pursue a PhD upon successful completion.

Furthering teaching careers, the Master of Education (MEd) programme is in-line with Sri Lanka Qualifications Framework (SLQF) Levels 9 for the 12-month programme and Level 10 for the 24-month programme. The duration can be selected based on the student’s convenience. However, students who opt for the 24-month programme are eligible to register for the PhD after the successful completion of the MEd.
