The Faculty of Humanities and Sciences (FHS) promotes a vibrant research culture through various research grants funded by both national and institutional bodies. Key funding sources include the Accelerating Higher Education Expansion and Development (AHEAD) programme and the National Science Foundation (NSF) of Sri Lanka.
