At the forefront of academic recognition, SLIIT made history by hosting the first-ever National Educator Awards ceremony recognizing 19 eminent educators in 12 disciplines.
Concurrently, SICASH 2023, the annual research conference of the SLIIT Faculty of Humanities and Sciences , unfolded on the 1st and 2nd of December 2023.

The grand inauguration ceremony graced the elegant Courtyard by Marriott, Colombo, setting the stage for the subsequent conference held at Curtin Colombo. Marking its debut face-to-face event, SICASH 2023 emerged as a pivotal platform where international and national researchers in English Language and Literature, Psychology, Law, Applied Sciences, Nursing & Health Sciences, Education, Mathematics & Statistics not only presented their latest research but also fostered new collaborations.
