This research project by the SLIIT Faculty of Engineering focuses on developing UAV-assisted and reconfigurable intelligent surface-supported Beyond 5G (B5G) communication systems. Funded by the SPARC program, Government of India, the study aims to enhance wireless network coverage, capacity, and reliability through innovative integration of UAVs and intelligent surfaces. The project supports the advancement of next-generation communication technologies, enabling flexible, high-speed connectivity in diverse environments and addressing the growing demands of smart cities and IoT applications.
