This research project by the SLIIT Faculty of Engineering focuses on developing an energy system model for Sri Lanka to analyze national energy policies. Supported by the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research, the project aims to provide a comprehensive framework for evaluating energy production, consumption, and sustainability. By simulating different policy scenarios, the study helps guide decision-makers toward optimizing energy resources, enhancing efficiency, and promoting renewable energy integration for a sustainable national energy future.
