Since joining SLIIT, I’ve had the opportunity to compete in inter-university, national, and international Taekwondo competitions, earning medals in each. The support from SLIIT, including the Sports Council, lecturers, and coaches, has been invaluable. Though I’m based away from Malabe, my team ensures I receive the training I need. Balancing studies and Taekwondo is challenging, but my batchmates' encouragement has helped me succeed in both. Taekwondo has shaped me not only as an athlete but also in character—building resilience, discipline, and determination. I’m truly grateful for this journey and excited to reach greater heights.
