My journey at SLIIT has been an incredible blend of academic and sporting excellence. I started my BSc in Information Technology, specializing in Data Science, in late September 2020 and soon became an active member of the SLIIT Chess Team. From 2020 to 2024, I proudly represented SLIIT in various tournaments, achieving remarkable milestones in both national and international competitions. I was honored to be selected for the Commonwealth Blitz Chess Championship 2024 and was selected for the Sri Lanka National A Chess Pool in 2020 and 2021, marking a significant milestone in my chess career.

My journey at SLIIT has been an extraordinary blend of academic and sporting excellence. From 2020 to 2024, I proudly represented SLIIT in various tournaments, achieving remarkable milestones in both national and international competitions. SLIIT has not only provided me with a platform to excel in chess but also instilled in me the values of teamwork, resilience, and continuous improvement. Balancing my academic pursuits with my passion for chess has been a rewarding challenge. I am proud to be part of this institution and look forward to achieving even greater heights in the future.
