University of Colombo and SLIIT Sign MoU to Advance Meditation Research Through Technology
The University of Colombo signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT). Through this partnership, the Centre for Meditation Research of the Faculty of Medicine will combine its scientific expertise in meditation research with SLIIT’s advanced IT capabilities to further develop meditation science through technological innovation, knowledge exchange, and joint research initiatives.
The event was attended by Professor Indika Mahesh Karunathilake, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Colombo; Mrs. K. C. Sanjeewani Perera, Registrar of the University of Colombo; Professor Nimal Rajapakse, Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor of SLIIT; and Professor Nuwan Kodagoda, Pro Vice-Chancellor of SLIIT.
