Project Trash to Treasurer
The “Trash to Treasure” Phase 2 project by the Leo Club of SLIIT focused on educating schoolchildren about sustainable waste management and composting.
Conducted over two days at Bokundara Mahinda Vidyalaya and Deepangoda Sri Medhananda Vidyalaya, the project featured expert-led sessions, hands-on activities, and compost unit setups. Sponsored by Harischandra Mills PLC and Commercial Bank, it empowered students through awareness, participation, and practical tools—promoting a cleaner, greener future through education and action.
