On April 19th, 2025, AIESEC in SLIIT brought the spirit of Avurudu to life with a vibrant Sinhala & Tamil New Year Celebration. The event was a beautiful blend of culture, tradition, and unity featuring traditional games, festive rituals, and joyful moments shared among members and guests.
It was an opportunity to honor Sri Lanka’s rich heritage while strengthening bonds within our AIESEC community. From laughter-filled competitions to cultural expressions of joy, the celebration truly captured the essence of the New Year and reminded us of the beauty of togetherness. A heartfelt celebration of tradition, unity, and new beginnings.
