The event featured the formal appointment of the chapter’s board members and was attended by several distinguished guests, including IESL President Prof. Ranjith Dissanayake, who delivered a keynote on “Engineers for Socio-Economic Development,” along with other senior representatives from IESL and SLIIT.

IESL Student Chapter of SLIIT
On October 23rd, 2024, the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) officially inaugurated its student chapter at SLIIT during the ‘IESL Day 2024’ event organized by the Engineering Society of SLIIT.
