Digital Hygiene Bootcamp Empowers SLIIT Students

The Asia Foundation has partnered with the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT) under the APAC Cybersecurity Fund, supported by Google.org, to ensure that vital cyber hygiene knowledge continues to be shared beyond the project’s conclusion.

Marking this partnership, the first Digital Hygiene Bootcamp was held on March 28 at the SLIIT Malabe Campus, during the university’s orientation program. About 800 students  from the Faculties of Computing, Engineering, and Humanities & Sciences participated in the session. The bootcamp equipped students with essential cyber hygiene knowledge and introduced the APAC Cybersecurity Fund Curriculum as a separate module on the university LMS that students can complete to earn an e-certificate.
