The donations included exercise books and all other stationary items requested by the school for the 53 students that are currently studying, shoes and school bags for all students, 62 dry ration packs for students and staff, sports items requested by the school, general items requested by class teachers & English unit, 6 fans for the school, library cupboard and book racks, a water tank for the school etc.

Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation was the platinum sponsor of the event and Rupavahini, ITN, Derana TV, Hiru TV & Swarnavahini covered the event.

The staff and students of the SLIIT Faculty of Business participated in this worthy cause and the event ended up as a huge success with the immense support of everyon
