Mr. Sapumal Rupasinghe
BSc Engineering (Hons) in Civil Engineering Faculty of Engineering | Civil Engineering Geotechnical Engineer (EIT) – TREK Geotechnical Inc., Manitoba, CanadaSapumal Rupasinghe was a member of the first BSc batch in Civil Engineering at SLIIT and graduated with honors in 2013. He began his career on one of Sri Lanka’s largest infrastructure ventures, the Colombo Port City project, becoming the first SLIIT engineering graduate to join the team. He later contributed to the World Bank–financed Integrated Watershed and Water Resources Management Project (IWWRMP) under the Ministry of Irrigation, serving as a Project Engineer. In 2024, Sapumal relocated to Canada, where he currently works as a Geotechnical Engineer (EIT) at TREK Geotechnical Inc., a leading consultancy firm in Manitoba.
