Reflections on SLIIT
“SLIIT has been an excellent springboard that helped jumpstart my entrepreneurial journey. The Sri Lanka Technology Incubator — now known as SLIIT Innovate — was the most valuable initiative within SLIIT. I am proud to still be involved with it and to share my journey with undergraduates. I’m truly grateful for the visionary thinking of Prof. Lalith Gamage, Vice Chancellor and MD/CEO of SLIIT, for initiating such a platform.”
Advice to Current Students
“I strongly believe undergraduates today need to be more vocationally trained than ever before. A skill-oriented workforce is not just the future—it’s the present. With AI now at our fingertips, many modern entry-level jobs are rapidly changing. We either get on the AI train, or we get left behind.
