This research project by the SLIIT Faculty of Engineering focuses on the development of AI-enhanced Optical Coherence Tomography (AI-OCT) for agricultural disease inspection. Funded by the Asian Development Bank, the study aims to create an advanced, non-invasive imaging system to detect crop diseases early and accurately. By integrating artificial intelligence with OCT technology, the project supports improved crop health monitoring, timely disease management, and increased agricultural productivity for sustainable farming practices.
