Archt. Jeeva Wijesundara is a Senior Lecturer-Higher Grade, in the SLIIT School of Architecture.  She is a Chartered Architect, and an Urban Designer having experience over 30 years in Practice. Presently She is a chief Partner to the Design Plan Associates (DPA), a consultancy organization  with Chartered Architects, Urban Designers, Town Planners, and Conservators, in Colombo.  During her practice she has been involving in design  and  construction of varying residential, commercial, office/institutional projects, as the Project Architect, Team Leader.  She has foreign working experience in Germany and Canada.

She is experienced in Teaching for Under-Graduate and Post-Graduate students; on Modules in   Architecture, Urban Design/Urban Planning and Building Construction Technologies, in the University of Moratuwa, University of Sri Jayewardenepura and the City School of Architecture.

She is a Fellow Member of Sri Lanka Institute of Architects.  Currently, she is a  Lecturer in the Sri Lanka Institute of Architects for ‘Professional Correspondence in Project Administration’ and 'Case Study' for Associate Membership (SLIA-Part III/Charter Examination) and is also serviced as a ‘Practical Training Counselor’ till 2022.
