Playing Karate at SLIIT
Karate at SLIIT blends physical mastery, mental strength, and competition. Established in 2013 with just 20 members, our program has grown under the legendary guidance of Shihan N. Lokukaluge (8th Dan Black Belt, former National Chief of Sri Lanka Karate-Do Association), whose 25+ international workshops in Japan bring world-class training to SLIIT.

No. All training is completely free for SLIIT students.
All members adhere to our core principles:
• Dojo Etiquette: Bowing, respectful address
• Training Standards: Punctuality, proper uniform
• Code of Conduct: No unsupervised sparring, silent devices
• Kasun Aravinda Lokukaluge (former captain):South Asian Championship medalists (Silver - 2017, Bronze - 2016),"Most Outstanding Sportsman" + "Best All-Rounder" in 2017 colour’s award
