The SLIIT Carrom Team proudly hosted The SLAM Carrom Championship 2025 for the 3rd consecutive time on 25th August 2025 at the New Academic Building (10th Floor – G Block), SLIIT Malabe Campus.
This year’s tournament featured strong participation from state and non-state universities and higher educational institutes, as follows:
SLIIT, University of Moratuwa (UOM), University of Sri Jayewardenepura (USJ), University of Kelaniya (UOK), University of Colombo (UOC), Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka (SUSL), Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT), The Open University of Sri Lanka (OUSL) and SLTC.
A total of 30 teams competed – 18 men’s teams across 4 groups and 12 women’s teams across 4 groups. After exciting group stages, the top 8 teams advanced to the Quarter Finals, followed by thrilling Semi-Finals that set the stage for the championship battles. The championship concluded on a high note, celebrating sportsmanship, skill, and unforgettable memories for all participants. Congratulations to all winners and a big thank you to every team for making The SLAM SLIIT Carrom Championship 2025 a resounding success!
