Dr. Malitha Wijesundara currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Humanities & Sciences at SLIIT. He has held several senior academic and administrative roles within the institution, including Dean of Academic Affairs, Dean of the Faculty of Computing, and Dean of Education and Student Experience. He has also served as Head of the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering and Head of IT Services.

With a multidisciplinary background, Dr. Wijesundara brings experience in both academic leadership and technical domains. His contributions span across computing, engineering, education, and institutional development.

He holds a PhD from the National University of Singapore (NUS), a BEng (Hons) from the University of Warwick, and is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
